FIRESIDE POEMS

The fire quiets us. The fire warms us. The fire remembers.

Where words are spoken softly and truths are allowed to breathe.

Where the flame does not test—but keeps watch through the night.

  • NOW THAT I'M GONE

I was her knight in shining armor…

  • SEE YOU ANYMORE

You thought you could cage me like a beast locked away…

  • TO BREAK HER HEART

Nothing would break my heart like having to break hers again…

  • WE DO NOT SIEGE.

    This house only conquers.

    We do not siege.

  • WITHOUT YOU

I’d rather hear one melody with you than a thousand songs without.

  • A SINKING SHIP

    My waters are rough.

I wouldn’t blame you for abandoning ship.

  • FORGED IN THE FIRE

    We are unbent and unbroken.

We were forged in the fire.

  • I MUST WIN

Every battle I fight for my kin is a fight I must win.

  • I DO IT FOR ME

All this I never did for her.

I only do it for me.
